Rouba

Rouba is a native French speaker and seasoned French teacher with over 18 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in French from California State University, Long Beach, and later completed a Master of Arts in Human Behavior and Psychology at National University. She holds a French teaching credential and is a part of the American Association of Teachers of French. Rouba loves to incorporate innovative technology and modernize curriculum as much as possible to reach her goal of making language learning engaging, meaningful, and accessible to students of all ages. Teaching is truly her passion, and she brings cultural richness, creativity, and a strong commitment to student success into every classroom she serves.

Why do you teach?

I teach to witness the moment when a student truly understands a concept—their expression shifts, filled with pride and confidence. It’s that powerful ‘aha’ moment when they realize not only that they can learn, but that learning itself is deeply rewarding.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

The ability to telepathically heal emotional and mental struggles in others.
